I went to this place called MacAlpines with my friends at work today. It's this 50s style restaurant on 7th St and Oak. I got the Chef Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing. There are no nutrition stats for this small place. So I did some research, a normal chef salad is about 7-9 points (without dressing), andI added 4 for the dressing and an additional point as a buffer. I should have said no to this MacAlpines and just gone ot Subway, but I think 14 points for a salad is generous. I even had 2 to spare today in case I was wrong.

I am definitely losing weight. You can't tell by looking at me, but my size 42 shorts are much easier to put on now. If I just go to the gym tomorrow and Sunday I might pull off dropping 3 pounds this week.

OK, gym time tomorrow. BOOYA!

I went to the gym today. So that's twice thus far. I'm planning on going on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe I should shoot for tomorrow as well.

I am starting to feel hungry during the day for the first time, so its starting to become more of a challenge, but its manageable so far.

Anxious for Sunday's weigh-in.

The webpage that shows the point values for restaurants was wrong on the value of the chicken quesadilla. The webpage said that it was 9 points. Taco Bell's page says 13 points. It was also off on the Soft Taco, stating that it was 5 points. It was actually 4. I think I might do some research on places I frequent to find more accurate values.

I usually bring the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl to work, but many days I get sick of being in the office and wander somewhere to get lunch. I should probably wander over to Subway soon.

Did I go to the gym today?................................yep. The key is going tomorrow since I am unlikely to go on Friday. If I go tomorrow and Saturday AND Sunday. This could be a big week.

Right now I do the treadmill for 20 minutes. Walk .75 miles Run .25 miles Walk the rest. I usually get 1.35 miles in 20 minutes. As I lose more weight I'll increase the ratio of running vs. walking. I also do a few of the weight machines. I probably will not move over to free weights until I drop below 250.

Damn Pei Wei. Apparently one bowl has TWO servings. So what I thought was 9 or 10 points was actually 19 points. I should have realized that it was too good to be true. No gym today. If I work past 8PM, I'm not in the mood to go to the gym. Tomorrow is probably a No, so Wed and Thurs I really need to go.

Another note on Pei Wei. How could that be TWO servings? If you serve it to me in one container, I'm going to eat it all, that's what guys do............................stupid Pei Wei.

Ok, time to focus, I look towards our great President, who says frequently, "stay the course"

Ok, I was about a half-a-pound off on the prediction, but I will take a 2 lb loss anytime. I really think I could have dropped another pound if I went to the gym 3 times this week, instead of once. I went today, but I got there 15 minutes before they closed, so I just hit the treadmill.

The goal this week should be to make it to the gym. Twice during Monday-Friday and go on both Saturday and Sunday. That would be 4 times for the week. I think that would translate into 3 less pounds.

Since I am now below 275 lbs. I am only allowed 31 points a day for food. When I get below 250 it goes down to 29, and at 225 it becomes 27. I have really been lights out when I have travelled or gone out to eat, that's great news. I just need to get to the gym a little more. OK, stay tuned, we'll see where I weigh in next week.

As you can see by the Bisonwiches, I was in Tucson on Saturday. And the salad was all I ate while I was down there. A weigh-in will occur today (Sunday). My prediction: 273.5 lbs
